Many pregnant women suffer from backache, heaviness, mood changes and stress of pregnancy due to hormonal changes. They also may have a difficult labor. Therefore, it is important to offer a course for pregnant women to encourage the mitigation of these difficulties through specific exercises and correct information about nutrition. The Center has medical doctor who provides a program for pregnant women.
The course includes: breathing exercises, ball exercises, simple aerobic exercises, and lifting with small weights. These exercises help lead to relaxation through the release of serotonin (a happiness hormone). In addition, these exercises lead to the stretching of the pelvic muscles, a correct position for the baby which will help to facilitate an easier delivery. Each course is divided into eight sessions and takes place twice a week.
