Older Age

Aging leads to a gradual decline in the body’s basic abilities such as muscle strengths, flexibility and muscular balance. Not being physically active increases the risk of getting chronic diseases and hinders the ability to a normal life. At the center, we offer a program which includes sports practice for older women, aged 50 years and above. These activities will help to stimulate glands and the protection of hormones, maintain blood pressure, improve balance and walking, reduce the risk of injury due to falls and encourage healthy food habits.

The course activities include: methods of breathing when doing exercises, Swedish therapeutic exercises, neck, shoulders, arms, waist and back strengthening exercises, as well as abdomen tightening and flexibility exercises. In addition legs strengthening and flexibility and balance exercises are taught. Each course is divided into 12 sessions three times per week
